The digital maturity of Belgian companies

The digital (r)evolution that has been going on for the past few years, is putting companies increasingly under pressure.
Start-ups offer innovative solutions for customers` most pressing needs; like this, they push the boundaries of whatever was the norm before. Traditional organizations find it difficult to come to terms with today’s digital trends and to use them to better serve their customers.
The readiness with which companies can embrace digital trends and incorporate them to create a brand new customer journey – in other words, their digital maturity – will be instrumental to their success and even their survival.
In collaboration with the Karel de Grote University College, Delaware Digital has mapped the digital maturity of Belgian companies. For this, 213 Belgian companies were questioned about their digital activities and their internal organization with regards to these activities. Their digital maturity was then calculated based on their scores on these two axes.
